The location of this hotel was perfect for this trip. We wanted to have easy access to the city, but also easy access to relatives who live a little outside the city centre. Access to public transport is excellent. Many different bus lines stop on Borgbjergsvej, which is almost directly in front of the hotel, and the Sydhavn Train station is around a 3-4 min walk. This meant it was easy to buy a city pass or individual trip tickets from the machine at the train station, and easy to get to places such as the city centre, the Fisketorvet Mall, Valby Park and Nørrebro etc. The casual atmosphere of the Moxy Hotels is also welcoming and the staff are extremely friendly. (If you want a more formal, traditional style of hotel service, this will not be to your liking, but having stayed in other Moxy hotels before, we knew what to expect.) Staff members are one of the best features of this hotel - Dragoș at the front desk could not have been more helpful or efficient. The room was clean and comfortable, but like many other European hotel rooms, on the small side. Casual food options in the area are pretty good. The burger place across the road is great, the Desi corner, also across the road, was not bad, Palermo Pizza on Borgbjergsvej was great, and having a small Fakta supermarket on that same road was very convenient. But the highlight for me was the South Harbour Cafe about 1 min walk toward the train station. The Moroccan food here was delicious - particularly the brunch. The atmosphere of this family run this cafe was warm and welcoming. Overall, if you want for value for money, great transport links, and don't need traditional, formal service and a large room, then this hotel is great.

It's everything you'd expect, when you've outgrown your hostel phase, but don't want to pay a 5* hotel. + 2 train stops (S-train) or 4 stops (metro 4) from main station, so less than 15 minutes + Window isolation from the street was good enough for us. Loved the blackout curtains. + The art in the hallways reminds you of Banksy's rat art and makes it funnier to walk the halls. + You can rent an umbrella for your stay. (But maybe a coat would also be handy with the weather.) + hang out areas in the lobby, with games and tea/coffee John, who did our check-in, was very helpful, a source of information and always up for a chat. :) ____ personal pet peeve, nothing negative in general: - Bar snacks are nothing more than that. Maybe throw in a salad or something healthier next to the pizza. - Didn't see any lactose free or dairy alternatives on the breakfast menu. But could have been my lack of coffee at that point. - Would've liked a hint on cleaning service practice, e.g. towel on floor = please change, otherwise we'll help save water on washing. - Maybe a complementary bottle of water in the room and a map of the city.

Our stay was absolutely amazing! The hotel has extremely friendly environment, chilled atmosphere and very modern - almost hipster design, where you feel welcomed. Even though it is located near the metro station (so it is very convenient to get from-to the airport as well as to the city centre), the surrounding is very quiet so you can get a restful night. Room was very cozy with incredibly comfortable beds. The breakfast is very rich - there is so much to choose from in both the savory and sweets and there are also many restaurants and supermarkets around. We also took advantage of the gym, which was sufficient enough for a quick workout.

Location to public transport: 2 stops and you are in the centre of Copenhagen. Very clean Polite and welcoming staff who were helpful Early check in Style Breakfast: very good continental selection. Comfy beds: it might be a British thing but could have done with an extra pillow. Good shower Tasty cocktails Considering how busy the hotel was, you could barely hear anyone in the corridors. It was noisy outside a couple of night but with the window closed you don’t hear a thing!

Cheryl

it was located near plenty of transport links, you had shops nearby for any essentials as well as a couple places to eat nearby. The television in the room had Chromecast attached to it, so you could watch whatever you wanted by linking up your device, which I thought was a brilliant idea. Staff were excellent when it came to checking out, somebody had charged a beer to my room, but I don't drink alcohol so they fixed that for me and removed the charge.
